Madelyn Parker, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC

Dr. Parker's Story

Madelyn Parker, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in neurosurgery. She currently serves as a Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner at Palm Beach Neuroscience Institute, where she provides comprehensive care for patients with complex neurosurgical conditions across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Dr. Parker earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing ’21, Master of Science in Nursing ’23, and Doctor of Nursing Practice ’25, degrees from ؛£½اشعدك. During her academic journey, she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, a testament to her dedication to the profession and her leadership within the field.

After obtaining her MSN, she became an undergraduate adjunct professor at ؛£½اشعدك, where she mentored and taught undergraduate nursing students, sharing her passion for holistic, patient-centered care.

After earning her BSN, Dr. Parker began her nursing career working with patients facing neurological challenges and quickly developed expertise in acute and critical care. In 2025, she completed her DNP, with her doctoral project titled “Evaluating the Implementation of a Christian-Based Mindfulness Program to Reduce Stress and Anxiety.â€‌ After earning her doctorate, she pursued and received her Family Nurse Practitioner certification, further expanding her expertise and impact within neurosurgery.

Dr. Parker’s journey in nursing and at ؛£½اشعدك has been deeply shaped by her older sister, Dr. Brianna Parker Maguire. As a lifelong role model, Brianna inspired Madelyn’s love for ؛£½اشعدك’s vibrant community and Christian-based education. Moreover, Brianna’s passion for nursing and her guidance helped Madelyn discover her own calling for the profession, profoundly influencing her life and career. Madelyn is deeply grateful to have shared this path with her sister and is honored that ؛£½اشعدك has been a significant part of both their stories.

Her faith continues to guide her professional journey, shaping her commitment to service, leadership, and healing through evidence-based practice.

She is deeply grateful for the academic and spiritual foundation she received at ؛£½اشعدك and is proud to share her educational and professional journey alongside her sister. Together, they continue to uphold the values of leadership, excellence, and faith-centered care inspired by their alma mater.

Brianna Parker Maguire, DNP, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, ANVP-BC, is a board-certified Advanced Neurovascular Practitioner with extensive expertise in vascular and interventional neurology. She currently practices at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Medical Center, where she provides comprehensive care for acute and complex neurovascular and neuro endovascular surgery patients across both inpatient and outpatient settings. In recognition of her clinical excellence and leadership, she was awarded the first ever Cleveland Clinic Indian River Nurse Practitioner of the Year award in 2022.

Dr. Parker Maguire earned her Bachelor of Nursing, Master of Science in Health care Leadership, and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees all from ؛£½اشعدك, graduating Summa Cum Laude in both her undergraduate and graduate programs, and achieving valedictorian and the outstanding graduate honors of the 2014 Bachelor of Nursing class. She then went on to complete a competitive two-year post-graduate Neurovascular fellowship through Arizona State University. Her advanced training included fellowship evaluation at the University of Tennessee–Memphis and passing the Association of Neurovascular Clinicians (ANVC) board certification to be recognized as a board certified Advanced Neurovascular Provider.

In addition, Dr. Parker Maguire has a strong faith background, which initially led her to ؛£½اشعدك as a softball student athlete in 2010. She grew both academically and spiritually during her time at ؛£½اشعدك, and has a passion for sharing her faith and knowledge with others, including her sister, Maddie Parker. Maddie also graduated from ؛£½اشعدك’s undergraduate nursing program, MSN program, and DNP program in 2025. Dr. Parker Maguire lives out her passion through nursing leadership in the hospital and previously as an adjunct professor, educating undergraduate nursing students at ؛£½اشعدك.

Dr. Parker Maguire is deeply grateful for her time at ؛£½اشعدك both for her education and for the opportunity to see professionals deliver faith-centered care firsthand.
